Individual donations are vital to help us continue to serve the youth of Central Arkansas.
Donations are used to:
- Help recruit new Big Brother and Big Sister volunteers
- Cover the costs of background checks and insurance, while ensuring trained professionals match children with caring and responsible Bigs
- Offer one-on-one, ongoing supervision and support for every match.

Big Brothers Big Sisters depends on the generosity of donors like you to continue to provide mentors for children. Your contribution stays right here in Central Arkansas. Here are just some of the ways you can donate:
Financial donations provide direct and immediate support, usually in the form of cash (via credit card, check, or electronic transfer) or publicly traded securities. Donors generally qualify for tax deductions.

Tribute & Memorial Gifts
Giving a gift in memory of a loved one or in honor of a birthday, anniversary or special occasion is a great way to pay tribute to that special someone while supporting the mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arkansas. All memorial and honor gifts will be acknowledged through a personal note sent by us to the honored person(s).
Stocks & Securities
Increasing numbers of donors are making gifts to Big Brothers Big Sisters using appreciated securities including stock, bonds, and mutual funds.
Employer Matching Gifts
Many employers match their employees’ gifts to charitable institutions. Some companies will match the gifts of employee spouses and retired employees as well. Ask the human resources or benefits office at your workplace for more information.
Planned Gifts & Bequests
A planned gift ensures the continuation of our landmark mentoring programs and creates your own legacy of support. Planned giving also offers significant advantages, including tax breaks and a potential income increase.
The security of personal information is a high priority for us. We maintain online safeguards to protect against unauthorized disclosure, use, alteration and destruction of the personal information in our possession. To protect the security of your credit card information, we use the industry standard for Internet security. This Internet encryption standard scrambles data as it travels from your computer to our server. You’ll know that you’re in a secure area of our website when the “http” portion of the BBBSCA website address in your browser changes to “https.” The “s” stands for “secure.” Donations are non-refundable.
