What is Bowl for Kids’ Sake?
This is the 24th year teams have been participating in Bowl-for-Kids Sake, a fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arkansas. Teams of 5 are asked to work together and raise $500 to help match children with positive role models. Money is raised when the team members ask family, friends, and co-workers to donate to the team by giving cash, check, or a donation through the Bowl for Kids’ website. Teams select a day and time below to participate in the bowl-a-thon as a celebration of all the money raised for Big Brothers Big Sisters. Each team bowls one game and each member gets a t-shirt, drink, and shoe rental.

What is Church Night?
Church Night is conducted with the help of Hallelujah 106.7. It is Friday, February 5 from 7 – 8 p.m. Local churches are asked to get a team together and bowl this night. It is a friendly competition and the team that raises the most money will have their church name added to a trophy, have bragging rights for the year as the winning church night team, and have a representative from the team join J.C. on the noon show the following week to plug events taking place at the church and talk about how much the team enjoyed the event. Each team gets one game and each member receives a t-shirt, drink, and shoe rental.
Money can be raised by asking the church to have a special offering before February 5 to ensure more children in this community can have a positive role model in their lives, ask people in your network to make a donation to your team (cash, check, or online donations are accepted), or organize a bake sale/potluck and ask congregation members to support it.
