The Big Luncheon- Celebrating 50 Years

BBBSCA celebrated 50+ years of service with the Inaugural The Big Luncheon on Friday, November 5. To honor this accomplishment and support the goals and mission of the board, CEO Raymond Long shared his vision of a Bolder. Better. Bigger Future. The Big Luncheon commemorated this milestone by highlighting BBBSCA's success in numbers. We currently serve 9,000 Arkansas in seven cities and three counties and have trained over 10,000 volunteers.

As the presenting sponsor, Arkansas BlueCross Blue Shield was joined by countless organizations who partnered with us to celebrate this historic occasion and sustain the mission by helping us build a Bolder. Better. Bigger Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arkansas.

And we were thrilled and honored to recognize some exceptional individuals during the event. Morris Williams was named our Big of the Year, with Khaleel Jones recognized as Little of the Year and Jomeka Edwards as Parent of the Year.
