Match Made in Mentorship: Weatherspoon & Harris

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arkansas welcomes Big Sister Adama Weatherspoon to the Big-Little Family.

Little Sister Brea Harris started out in our group mentoring at Parkview Magnet High School. Harris wanted a Big Sister who could offer support, patience, and assistance in developing her communication skills.

With a desire to make a difference in a young person's life, Adama Weatherspoon eagerly stepped forward. Weatherspoon, known for her dedication to family, love of reading and writing, and penchant for quality time with friends, aimed to form a bond with a Little she could relate to and create a safe and nurturing environment within her own home.

As the partnership between Harris and Weatherspoon continues to grow under the guidance of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arkansas, we hope their story serves as a testament to the transformative potential of mentorship. Individuals looking to make a positive impact in the lives of young people are encouraged to explore the opportunity of becoming a mentor.
